Clara Garden Restaurant
On a hillside, in the old section of villas and city squares, in a green-tile building which was the stable in a 18th Century mansion, there is a restaurant that is an oasis of calm amidst the frantic pace of ebullient Lisbon. Clara Restaurant, easily accessible from the downtown and the business sections, located at the verdant Campo Martires da Patria, is a splendid convergence of the traditional and modern worlds.
The luxury restaurant offers a rich and selective cuisine at moderate prices. The main dining room seats 130 people comfortably and the enclosed garden dining area offers a pleasant alternative. For 'important' business networking or intimate lunches/dinners, there is a private room available.
You may want to enjoy a drink at the bar, which still reflects the elegant decor of the past when it functioned as a foyer of a palatial home; the living room of a private apartment; and, an antiques shop. You may want to enjoy your lunch in the enclosed garden, amongst the lush greenery and running fountain. In the evening, a table near the fireplace and soft piano music may be more appealing.
The menu is both traditional Portuguese and sophisticated international, with a selection of wines and cheeses. The desserts are delicious. Live pianist performs every night.

Bica do Sapato
It belongs to 3 owners, all the 3 are managers, Fernando Fernandes and Jose Miranda, also owners of the Pap'Acorda in Bairro Alto, and Manuel Reis who's also the owner of the LUX Disco Bar. John Malkovish is also an associate. We are just a few metres from the LUX bar, one of the most fashionable places in Lisbon.
3 spaces: the Cafeteria, the Restaurant and the Sushi. In the Cafeteria we have a Portuguese Traditional Cuisine, in the Restaurant you can also find a Portuguese Cuisine but in a more innovating way, with some Mediterranean influences. The Sushi has two kinds of dishes, the Traditional from Japan and the Fusion with Portuguese.
The Cafeteria, Restaurant and Sushi are open from Monday to Saturday. On Monday the Cafeteria is open from 5 pm to 1 am, on the other days it opens at 12 pm to 1 am. Mondays and Saturdays the Restaurant is open from 8 pm to 11.30 pm, on the other days it is open from 12.30 am to 2.30 pm at the lunch time and from the 8 pm to 11.30 am at dinnertime. Sushi opens everyday from 7.30 pm to 1 am.
Usually the Menus change 3 to 4 times a year; in the Sushi we got a different Menu for each Season. Almost all the dishes are exclusive of our Restaurant.
