With modern architectural design, the new Aviz Hotel does not wish to relive former days but to transport to modern days the concept of the legendary hotel that lived from 1931 to 1962 at the magnificent Picoas Palace.

Because of its reputation for having the best cuisine at the time and a luxurious service, the mythical Aviz Hotel was one of the places elected by the finest society for parties and business meetings. What you cannot miss is the famous and legendary Aviz Restaurant which has now returned to its origins, maintaining not only the original recipes and the exceptional wine cellar, but also some of the original pieces of its decoration, like the exquisite Christophle tableware and the Portuguese famous Vista Alegre plates.

A very special attention waits for you at breakfast: champagne is served daily. Aviz catering is another service offered by the hotel and some of the cakes and bread that you will find on the buffet is home made.
