On this walk we will look into some of the most curious secrets of Lisbon. There are fantastic stories and events, and some of these tales and legends gave rise to saints, heroes and villains. You will become acquainted with some of the most intriguing of these characters, including some of whom the city is not so proud of. During this walk you will learn about:

Itinerary
Our tours are planned to be different and unexpected from any other one you will find in the city. The itinerary depends on various factors: the number of participants, the style, the nationality, the mood, the weather... hence it is moulded day to day, with a very personal touch. So be ready for surprises!
Basically we will take you to see places that you wouldn't find by yourselves.

The following fees will apply:
- 15 days before: no fees, total refund less our bank fees (3%).
- 14 to 2 days before: Euros 5.00 will be charged for administration fees - refund of the remaining amount less our bank fees (3%).
- Less than 2 days: 50% will be charged, refund of the remaining amount less our bank fees (3%).
- No Show: no refund will be granted unless force majeure reason is provided.
Please note that we do not have a 24h/7 service. So if you have booked a tour on Sunday, you have to advise us before the preceding Friday, 5pm (London time).

Participant Guidelines
How early do you need to arrive for a walk?
5 minutes tolerance will be given but try to arrive 10 minutes prior to departure time. This will keep everybody, including your Lisbon Walkers Guide, very happy. Should you be late for some reason, you can reach our guide by calling his mobile phone +351 963 575 635.
What should you wear?
You will go up and down a few stairs and cobblestone streets so good walking shoes are recommended, high heels being seriously discouraged.

In which language are the tour run?
The daily regular walks are guided by English speaking guides. On Sunday afternoon the tours are reserved for Portuguese speaking people.
Is there a risk to be left behind from the group?
None of the walks is a forced march. The most moderately demanding is Lisbon Old Town. However, if you bear in mind that the Old Town walk takes place in one of the quarters with some of the most senior population in Lisbon, and little public transportation available, you can imagine that if the natives can do it, so can you!
Is there any stop along the way?
Yes not only is a proper break is provided, but also the opportunity to expand a bit on any special history or anecdote that your guide will find appropriate in the context. They try to land in shady spots with some sitting room to allow for some leg stretching.
Can I take my children on a walk?
Sure you can. And it is for free. Baby trolleys however may prove a bit tricky to manoeuvre at times, as sidewalks can be quite narrow or non-existing, but I believe everyone will certainly lend a hand in case of need.
