Casa da Pergola

Casa da Pergola still keeps its main characteristics though some changes have occurred through the centuries. The decoration is a mixture of styles and furniture from different times and has a classic style, quite similar to a British one. All the furniture belongs to the family and has been collected for almost a century.

The wooden floor, sheltered with Persian and "Arraiolos" tapestries, and the stairs are covered by black and white marble and the sofas with velvet. On the walls several oil paintings from famous painters are exhibited.

The bathrooms preserve the style and trends of the '60s, maintaining the strong colors and textures of that time, although they are still in a remarkable good shape.

Casa da Pergola has 8 double rooms, 2 of them with a balcony over the garden and 2 single rooms, 1 of them on the back yard. Each room has a unique decoration. All rooms, except the "Bougainvilia", are equipped with air conditioning, central heating, fans and oil heaters.

There are six twin or double rooms without a balcony.
