A library is located in a cosy lounge on the first floor of the hotel. It contains a vast selection of books in different languages and other reading material. There is also a computer for Internet access and a local printer.

A gymnasium equipped with running machine, bicycles, multi-function machines, step, mattresses and other features is located on the fifth floor. There is massage service available; however, it needs to be booked in advance.

The hotel is fully equipped with Wireless Internet Access. All the lounges and rooms are equipped with cable for ADSL broadband Internet access. Daily printing service of international newspapers is available.

Smoking in the rooms is not allowed. There is a lounge on the ground floor, with a six-metre high ceiling and proper exhaust system, where smoking is allowed.

Avenida Palace offers Tea Service on Tuesdays and Thursdays, between 16.00 and 18.00, from November to the end of May. A wide selection of teas is served, along with mini-sandwiches, scones and other pastries. It is served in a pleasant lounge with natural light and live piano music.
