Go to downtown Lisbon, which is also called Baixa. Look for Praça do Rossio (Rossio Square), which is a renovated metro station, well worth a visit or a trip.
Then go to Chiado quarter, which can be reached walking or by lift (Elevador da Gloria), a very old one built by Eiffel - the same engineer who built the Eiffel Tower.
Look for Praça Luis de Camoes (the Chiado metro station has one of its exits in front of it), which is the most famous square in this area. There you can ask for the way to the hotel. Rua da Rosa and Largo do Calhariz are two other references.
The hostel has access to all types of transport - bus, metro and train - to the city and its surroundings. It is within 10 minutes' walking from the Docas (docks where restaurants and night life can be found) and Tagus River, where ferry-boats are available for reaching the South, on the other bank.
Lisbon's international airport is about 20 minutes away, depending on traffic.
Procure a Praça Luis de Camões - a estação de metro Chiado tem uma das suas saidas logo em fremte - que é a mais famosa praça nesta area e é um ponto de encontro para a noite. Daqui pergunte o caminho. A Rua da Rosa e o Largo do Calhariz são 2 outras referências.
A pensão tem acesso a todos os tipo de transporte - bus, metro e comboio - para toda a cidade e arredores. Fica a 10 minutos das Docas (onde encontram-se restaurantes e vida nocturna) e do Rio Tejo com os seus ferries disponíveis para se dirigir para o Sul na outra margem levando para as praias da Costa da Caparica. O aeroporto internacional de Lisboa fica a aproximadamente 20 minutos dependendo do trânsito.
